IuPS Interface Data Configuration over ATM

This is the IU-PS protocol stack.

The configuration sequence of IU-PS interface is as follow:

• Configure the physical layer data for the ports that are required when ATM transport is applied.
• Configure ATM traffic resources.
• Add the data on the control plane of the Iu-PS interface.
• Add the data on the user plane of the Iu-PS interface.

MTP3-B Link

The MTP3-B link conception is the same as IU-CS interface.

IPoA PVC

The IPoA PVC is a PVC to the gateway of the SGSN. The IPoA PVC is terminated on the interface board of the RNC.
